Temple Fireside
We will be hearing from the builders of the St George and Red Cliffs Temples and getting a behind the scenes look at the construction process of these amazing buildings. February 26th at 7pm at the Little Valley Stake Center.
Ward Temple and Family History
“I promise you that all who faithfully attend to temple work will be blessed beyond measure. Your families will draw closer to the Lord, unseen angels will watch over your loved ones when satanic forces tempt them, the veil will be thin, and great spiritual experiences will distill upon this people.”
Vaughn J Featherstone (1931-2018) of the Seventy
“Temples are nourished with names”
As the physical work on the Red Cliffs Utah Temple progresses, we invite you to register for a FamilySearch account on FamilySearch.org and opt in to receive messages so that FamilySearch can help you prepare family names who need temple ordinances.
President Russell M. Nelson declared:
“Family history research and temple service are one work in this church. We cannot do vicarious work for our progenitors unless we know who they are. Temples are nourished with names. Without genealogies, ordinances could be performed only for the living. Searching out the names of our kindred dead is a duty of consummate importance.” (2019 temple leadership seminar)
Registering for a FamilySearch account and learning about your ancestors is an important and joyful way to prepare for the dedication of the Red Cliffs Utah Temple.
Sincerely,
Utah Area Presidency

Easter Sunday Worship Services
“Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in commemoration of the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Sacrament meeting that day provides an opportunity to feature Christ-centered messages and sacred music. All other Sunday meetings should be canceled that day… During the Easter season we can strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ and share His gospel with others as we consider His life and mission. We may appropriately invite friends and family to join us that day to receive messages of hope, peace, the reality of immortality, and the possibility of eternal life through the Savior’s atoning sacrifice.” February 15, 2023 Letter from the First Presidency
