Letter from First Presidency – General Conference
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
We are pleased to announce the upcoming 193rd Annual General Conference. The First Presidency, members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and other General Authorities and General Officers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will share messages of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
General sessions for all individuals, families, and friends will be held Saturday morning, afternoon, and evening, April 1, as well as Sunday morning and afternoon, April 2. The conference will be broadcast on
ChurchofJesusChrist.org, other media, and the Church satellite system. Due to the ongoing construction taking place on and around Temple Square, in person attendance at the general conference sessions will again be limited. Decisions about gathering to watch general conference in meetinghouses will be left to the discretion of local leaders.
General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as general Church leaders give counsel and direction. We encourage members to listen to, study, ponder, and apply the counsel given. The messages will be published in the Gospel Library app, on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, and in Church magazines for further viewing and study.
Sincerely Yours,
Russell M. Nelson, Dallin H. Oakes, Henry B. Eyring
Temple and Family History

Easter Sunday Worship Services
“Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in commemoration of the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Sacrament meeting that day provides an opportunity to feature Christ-centered messages and sacred music. All other Sunday meetings should be canceled that day… During the Easter season we can strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ and share His gospel with others as we consider His life and mission. We may appropriately invite friends and family to join us that day to receive messages of hope, peace, the reality of immortality, and the possibility of eternal life through the Savior’s atoning sacrifice.” February 15, 2023 Letter from the First Presidency
