Thought of the Week
A new feature we are starting is a weekly “thought of the week” that goes along with this weeks “Come, Follow Me”. The plan is to post these a few days ahead of time in the Adults circle of the Gospel Living app and then post them in the bulletin. We’d love to have many different people help with this. If you would like to write a “thought of the week” please send it to Michael Cox early in the week or post it in the Gospel Living app. Read the Current Thought of the Week.

Thought of the Week

By Michael H Cox

Brothers and Sisters, Happy Easter! Today at the end of Holy Week we can reflect upon the perfect life of Jesus Christ, His teachings, His atonement, and His resurrection. The atonement of Jesus of Nazareth is the single most important event in history and because of Him and His grace and mercy we can return and live with Him and our Father in Heaven.

What a special experience it was to begin Holy Week with the dedication of the Red Cliffs Utah Temple last week on Palm Sunday. If you’d like to learn more about the events of Holy Week visit www.LittleValleyWard.com/HolyWeek2024/

Jesus of Nazareth is the Savior and Redeemer. As we study about His life, His teachings, and His example, as well as the words of His authorized servants, ancient and modern, we can strive to better emulate Him. Because of His grace and mercy we can return and live with our Heavenly Father again in His mansion above. Jesus is risen and because He is risen all of us will rise from the dead. And He loves us, even when we are unlovable. Let’s try a little harder this week to love everyone around us, like Jesus does, even when they are unlovable.
